The Role:
Our organization is looking for a dedicated Substance Use Specialist to provide crucial consultation to all teams, develop effective SUD treatment options, and offer supervision to staff on their journey towards certification and licensure. Collaborating closely with Program Directors, you'll play a vital role in addressing the complex needs of our clients across Youth & Family Services and Adult Services. Your commitment to promoting self-care, wellness, and recovery will be instrumental in guiding individuals towards stability. As a compassionate advocate, you'll establish meaningful partnerships with treatment providers and social service agencies, ensuring comprehensive support for our clients. With meticulous attention to detail, you'll maintain accurate documentation and uphold strict privacy standards.
What we’re looking for:
- Licensure as an MLADAC in addition to licensure for independent practice in mental health (i.e., LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, etc.)
- Experience working in a community mental health center and/or within a substance misuse treatment
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Ability to utilize technology provided to perform job requirements
- Valid driver’s license, proof of adequate automobile liability insurance and reliable transportation required
